Most important; try to stick to unprocessed foods. I would say 80% of my diet is “real”. The body processes it better and can therefore burn it more efficiently.

Reduce the pastas and breads, but don’t feel that you have to eliminate them completely. Reduce your portions and have more fruits, veggies, or lean protein (fish, organic chicken or meat).
-
Dairy: Very high in fat so if you’re a cheese-lover this is something you’ll have to reduce. Also, dairy tends to create a kind-of permanent bloat and if you eliminate it you’ll see your stomach flatten.
-
Gluten is something I’ve also discovered can bloat and irritate your stomach (everything associated to wheat). There are gluten-free breads, cakes cookies and pastas available in most grocery stores. If you have any questions ask me about it – I’ve eliminated 75% of gluten from my diet since last June and feel so much better.

Sugary coffee’s and drinks: reduce the number of these you have per week (all of us at the office became addicted to caramel macchiato’s and gained weight from them last year – now its only once a month).

Sugar in your tea and coffee. I love sugar in my tea but I have about 5 cups a day! So I have 2 cups of tea with sugar, and 3 without.
